In Galatians 5:22-23, two short verses mention 9 character traits for us to make a part of daily lives. These character traits include love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance collectively known as the Fruit of the Spirit. Katie Hornor walks us through how we can apply each of these characteristics to our lives in Putting on the Spirit: Ten-Minute Devotions for Busy Moms.

Putting on the Spirit: Ten-Minute Devotions for Busy Moms gives moms short and meaningful Bible studies on the Fruit of the Spirit. This 28-day study takes you through each of the character traits of the Fruit of the Spirit in brief studies that busy moms will appreciate.
If you have not read one of Katie’s studies before, she loves to include writing God’s Word in each study. In this study, you will not just read a related passage, but you will also write those passages. You will benefit from writing these words as it will make the study more impactful and memorable throughout the day you studied them.
I also love how Katie weaves examples of how we can apply the Fruit of the Spirit to our mom life. She shares many ways we can show our families God’s love by exhibiting these character traits in our daily lives.
As promised in the title, these are 10-minute devotions. Busy moms don’t have to worry about long and complicated lessons. Each lesson is short and provides a practical application you can use today.

I don’t get quiet time. I’m an stay-at-home-mom of 4 kids 13 yr old boy, 7 yr old boy, 4 yr old girl, 3 yr old boy. The 13 yr old and 7 yr old go to school for the go part of the day and the 4 yr old goes half day, the 3 yr old stays home. When I have to go anywhere I either have 1 or all 4 kids with me.
I bet those are a treasure trove of great info! Need!!!
