Family planners help moms organize home life, work-life, activities of individual family members, and weekly to-do lists. For moms who want to stay on top of a busy family schedule, a family planner will bring organization and calm to your routines.
How to choose a family planner?
When choosing a family planner, consider your family needs and how you can best organize weekly tasks, appointments, and individual family member activities.
What layout style works for you? Do you prefer a vertical or horizontal layout? By answering this question, it will help you focus on planners that are formatted in your preferred style.
The layout seems to be the main reason a planner works or it doesn’t. If you don’t like the way the layout looks, usually you will stop using the planner.
What size do you want? Do you want a purse-sized planner that’s easy to keep in a purse or tote bag or do you prefer a larger desk-top sized planner?
I like a medium sized planner (too big for a purse, but not too overwhelming on a desktop).
What features are important? Do you want hourly scheduling, morning/afternoon/evening scheduling or freestyle space for your scheduling? Do you love stickers (so you want a planner that comes with stickers)? Do you like removable to-do lists and shopping lists? Think about the features that will help you get organized when picking your planner.
I prefer the morning/afternoon/evening layouts, but you might like the hourly or freestyle designs. I also like some stickers, but not many.

I like the vertical layout, I definitely like the classic size. I love the freestyle space because I love to decorate it with stickers, washi tape, and markers. I also like the freestyle because not everyday is the same. My favorite planner is the happy planner, which I’m currently using.
