Easy Quesadilla Recipe
Have you noticed how kids love to help in the kitchen? When it’s time to start dinner, I usually have a few volunteers to help make dinner.
That’s why I love fun kid-friendly recipes like this easy quesadilla recipe. These quesadillas are the perfect kid-friendly recipe to teach kids the basics of cooking for themselves. Plus you and the kids can have fun making cute designs like these heart-shaped quesadillas.

Quesadilla recipes are perfect for kids learning to cook. They have simple ingredients and they don’t take long to make. Also, kids can choose to include the toppings they like and make their quesadillas unique.
You can add to the fun with this recipe by using different-shaped cookie cutters. Don’t have a heart cookie cutter? No problem, try some animal shapes or even circles, triangles and other geometric shapes that can be fun.
What fun shapes will you make for dinner tonight?

Fun recipe. Easy for kids.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 cup white onion; diced
- 3 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 6 flour tortillas
- Optional: sour cream, salsa, guacamole for topping
- heart-shaped cookie cutter

In a skillet, add in ground beef and onion. Saute until beef is browned.

With the heart-shaped cookie cutter place tortillas on cutting board and cut.

Fill with beef mixture and cheese. Place in a flat pan and put to medium heat. Cook flipping until each side is lightly browned and cheese is melted.

Serve with salsa, sour cream, and/or guacamole.
