One day every year we celebrate our moms – Mother’s Day. One way to make moms feel special on Mother’s Day is to give gifts to mom that are unique and special, more than a crockpot or vacuum cleaner. Gifts we give mom on Mother’s day should show her how much she means to us and create new and special memories for her.
Some of my favorite gifts for Mother’s Day have been the pictures or cards my children have made for me or the cute necklaces and bracelets from yarn and macaroni. These wonderful handmade gifts are always made with love and come from the heart. These gifts mean so much on Mother’s Day.

A Special Day
Plan a special day for Mother’s Day or her birthday. You could plan a lunch date or my favorite a tea party. Get your mom, your sisters, and your daughters and have a lunch or tea party at one of your homes or visit a local tea room. Don’t forget to dress up and have “girl” fun.
If you have a son, you could plan a special activity that mom enjoys and spend the day with her. You could go to a movie and have a special lunch.
A special day makes new special memories you have enjoyed together. These special memories will be a day that mom will always remember. Be sure to take lots of pictures and selfies too!

A Bouquet of Flowers
Flowers always make moms smile. A beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers will be enjoyed and appreciated. Mom can also save the flowers by drying the leaves and make potpourri.
