Why You Will Love Using a Bullet Journal
Bullet journals have many benefits. You can design and customize them to fit your needs and favorite layouts, you can add your favorite pages, and track only the data you want to track. Bullet journals can be any size you want (compact, purse size or even full size).
If you feel like you are always searching for the perfect planner, but never seem to find what you want, then a bullet journal may be for you.
A bullet journal is a simple planner you design using a notebook and pen. You can use any notebook you have at home or you can buy a notebook to be your “bullet journal.” Since I am still new to bullet journals, I have been using pretty notebooks I find at home to test formats and page designs I like. One reason you will love a bullet journal is because you can include any page you want or need to keep you organized, and you don’t have to have pages you don’t use.

MONTHLY/WEEKLY/DAILY PLANNER PAGES
The most basic way to start and use a bullet journal is with a monthly, weekly or daily planner. I still use a purchased planner as my daily planner, but I love some of the page designs I have seen on Pinterest for bullet journals. If you have a planner page format that is important to you, but you just cannot find in printed planner, then you can design your own pages in a bullet journal.
I have also noticed many people will design and redesign their planner pages. If you are creative, you may enjoy the flexibility of the bullet journal page layouts and designs, you are limited only by your imagination.

GOAL SETTING PAGES
The next pages you might add are goal setting pages. Goal setting and task tracking are two of my favorite pages in my bullet journals. You will love how you can write down a goal and make plans for completion. You can have daily goals or weekly goals.
You can incorporate goal tracking into your weekly and daily planner pages. For example, if you want to track how much water you drink each day, you can draw a picture or symbol for water and mark it off each time you drink a glass.
You can also design 1-year, 5-year, and 10-year goal pages. You have complete control and design of your journal.
TO-DO LIST PAGES
To-Do list pages are another favorite for bullet journalers. In my bullet journal, I love to keep an on-going to-do list and tasks I am planning to complete. Since it’s an on-going list, you don’t have to keep recopying it or moving to the next day in your planner.
RANDOM THOUGHTS AND THINGS YOU DON’T WANT TO FORGET PAGES
Do you ever have a moment of inspiration and think, I don’t want to forget this idea? Stop and write it in your bullet journal. You may find it helpful to keep a bullet journal that is sized to fit your purse or tote bag, then when you have moments of great inspiration, you can just pull out your bullet journal and write it down.
You can also include favorite quotes and Bible verses that inspire you. These pages are always great to re-read when you need a boost of inspiration and encouragement.
MEAL PLANNING AND FAVORITE MEALS PAGES
Meal planning is a great time saver for moms. You can keep a list of favorite family recipes and meals. A list of favorite recipes makes your meal planning much faster. Once a week, you can add a page to your bullet journal for the weekly meal plan (if needed, you could also create a shopping list).
