After a long week or a busy day, I love to grab a good book and sit down and get lost in a story. That’s what happens when you start reading Who I Am With You by Robin Lee Hatcher. You start reading and you get so lost in the story and characters and you don’t want to put this book down.

Set in a small town in Idaho called Hope Springs, we meet Jessica and Ridley. Both struggling with personal loss and determined to make it on their own.
When the story begins, we find Jessica has recently been betrayed and lost her husband and child in an accident. Now, she is pregnant and alone. Adding to her grief, her grandmother, whom she was very close to, recently passed away.
In her sadness, Jessica has turned from God. But her grandmother left her a Bible. A special Bible that has notes from her great grandfather about his life. That Bible will help Jessica find a path for herself.
Ridley has come to Hope Springs to hide. He has lost his job, he was publicly humiliated and he wants all his troubles to just go away. Hoping that no one will recognize him from the news stories, he takes refuge in his parents home in this small town.
The home right next door to Jessica…
As the story of Jessica and Ridley unfolds, you will be drawn into this story. Each character struggling with brokenness and heartbreaks much like our own lives.
The more Jessica reads her great-grandfather’s Bible the more she is touched by this man whom she never met. She feels connected to him. She finds the Bible verses he marked bring healing to her broken heart. Together, she and Ridley learn to forgive others and must decide if they are willing to take a chance on love again.
A delicate romance that shows us that love can overcome all if we are willing to accept the healing and love again.
A story you won’t want to put down until you reach the climactic ending in Who I Am With You.
