Learn Character and History with the American Woman’s Bible

When I first heard about the American Woman’s Bible, I thought it sounded like a great way to teach Biblical character and American history to my daughters.  This Bible is beautifully illustrated, includes biographies of some great American women and will help your daughter see how Christian woman have been a part of and influenced American history.

Our daughters need encouragement to grow up with Biblical character and to live their life based on Biblical principles.  The American Woman’s Bible will show our daughters Biblical character has been a part of our history since the American founding. It will also show them how to continue our wonderful heritage.

History and the Bible Come to Life

The American Woman’s Bible uses actual historical figures to illustrate biblical concepts.  The teachings include character traits like steadfastness, compassion, and devotion.  Biblical concepts are shared through the biographical sketches of prominent American women in each book.   These biographies show our daughters an example of a real woman living out Biblical character.

For younger children and teens, the Bible comes to life when they have a real life example showing them how to live the concept.  As you study these women, you will also be learning the rich American history.  Many of the biographies in this Bible are not famous names you would automatically recognize. But women who had an impact on history.
